Wires & Fabriks was established in 1963 at Jaipur. The Company has German Machinery and technology for the manufacture of phosphorbronze and stainless steel wire cloth. The products find application in paper asbestos, chemical and filteration industries. The introduction of synthetic fabrics with west German collaboration in 1982 was a Landmark for the Company. The Company produces a speciality product called "forming fabriks", for the paper industry. This is a precision engineered synthetic wire cloth, a basic necessity for manufacturing paper/ paperboard. The company is the first manufacturer in Asia to install a 10.5M wide 100m incorporating state-of the art technology in 1985. The Company was the first to manufacture Indian double layer fabriks, the latest in forming fabriks, on the company's 6.2 M 100m. The 100m was part- Financed by International Finance Corporation Washington, D.C. The Company had a technical collaboration with Peter Villforth, West Germany Which expired in 1991.
