YEAR EVENTS 1992 - The Company was incorporated on December, 2nd. The Company has been promoted by Straw Products Ltd. and J. K. Industries Ltd. Company is setting up a project to process 3 lakh litres of milk per day to manufacture ghee, dairy whitener and whey powder. The main objects of the Company is to process milk to manufacture ghee, dairy whitener and whey powder. 1994 - The Company has successfully launched ghee and skimmed milk powder under `Umang' brand, `White Magic' Dairy creamer and Dairy Top Dairy Mix for Tea/Coffee. - 52,40,000 No. of equity shares of Rs 10 each allotted to Promoters, 17,50,000 No. of equity shares of Rs 10 each allotted to promoters on conversion of Part A of PCD's. 6,40,000 No. of equity shares of Rs 10 each allotted to GIC Mutual Fund on firm basis on conversion of PCD's. 6,40,000 No. of equity shares of Rs 10 each allotted to SCICI on firm basis on conversion of PCD's. 17,62,000 No. of equity shares of Rs 10 each allotted to the Indian Public and employees, 19,71,200 No. of equity shares of Rs 10 each allotted on conversion of PCD's to the Indian public and employees. 2006 -JK Dairy enters into agreement with CG Foods -JK Dairy & Foods Ltd has informed that Shri Girish Sharma has ceased to be a Whole-time Director / Director of the Company w.e.f. September 29, 2006 on expiry of his term of five years. 2007 - Company name has been changed from JK Dairy and Foods Ltd to Umang Dairies Ltd. 2008 -Company has given the following Email Id for investor's grievance: umang@jkmail.com. 2013 -Umang Dairies has recommended dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2013, @ Rs. 0.75 per share (15%) on 2,20,03,200 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each of the Company. 2014 -Umang Dairies has recommended dividend for the financial year March 31, 2014, @ Re. 1.00 per share (20%) on 2,20,03,200 Equity Shares of Rs. 5/- each of the Company.
