7 Mar 2024 , 9:52AM The company has cut CNG price by Rs2.5/kg in Delhi and NCR region. The revised CNG price in Delhi is Rs74.09/kg. The move comes just a day after CNG price cut announced by MGL and the companies has indicated lower gas cost as the key reason for CNG price cut. Also, recent media reports indicated that members of PNGRB is looking into high margins/profit made by CGDs and collecting data to examine CNG prices. The recent price cuts and comments on reasonable returns for CGDs would act as a near overhang for CGDs and stock price of IGL/MGL could continue to remain under pressure in today’s trade as well despite steep fall of 6%/15% for IGL/MGL in yesterday’s trade.
