Road, Ghaziabad (U.P.) and 12/1, Milestone, Mathura Road, Faridabad (Haryana).1982 - The company merged a conductor and transformer manufacturing company namely Gwalior Cables & Conductors Ltd, Gwalior (M.P.) w.e.f. 1st April, 1982.1982 - A power cable manufacturing unit was installed by the company at Faridabad.1982 - HVPL was the first company in India to import 152 mm Extruder from "Mallifer Finland".1990 - The company developed the AACSR Conductor.1998 - The name of the company was changed to Hindusthan Vidyut Products Ltd by getting fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated 26th March, 1998 from Registrar of Companies, NCT of Delhi & Haryana.2000 - The company took over a unit manufacturing all type of insulators with the name of `Insulators & Electricals Company', Mandideep, Distt. Raisen(M.P.) as a going concern w.e.f. 1st April, 2000.2003 - The Cable division at Faridabad was expanded by installation of CCV line to manufacture HT XLPE Power Cables.2005 - Installed shaft less stranding (20 24 32) machine running at 250 rpm from "BAGGAR Denmark". We are the only company in India to have this machine currently.2005 - CDCC line imported from "Nokia Mallifer" with reverse catenary feature, which ensures precise control of insulated core centering in curing tube. We are the Only company to have this technology.2010 - Executed Largest single order of 11 KV 3C x 400 Sq mm of 418 Km from BESCOM, Bangalore.2012 - The company successfully commenced production at its new conductor plant setup at Guwahati.2012 - First Solar plant with parabolic mirrors of 120 KW commissioned in 2012 for process heating.At present, we manufacture Bare Conductors for transmission lines & HT Insulators such as Solid Core Insulator, Hollow (Bushing Insulator).
