Company Info

The company was incorporated on 29.12.1984 as a private limited company and was later converted into a public limited company on 18.07.1985 under the act. Being a private limited company at the time of incorporation, the company was not required to obtain the certificate of commencement of business. The company is an associate company of Deccan Cements limited, DCL Finance Limited and DCL Polyesters Limited. The company set up a plastic processing unit for manufacture of HDPE/PP woven sacks which went into commercial production in 1987. The manufacturing capacity ofthis unit has since been raised from 6 million bags per annum to 10 million bags per annum. The capacity at present in terms of tonnes is 720 MTs per annim for high density poly ethylene(HDPE)/Poly Propylene (PP) fabric sacks and 180 MTs per annum for high molecular high density poly ethylene (HMHDPE)/Low density poly ethylene (LDPE)Bags. PRESENT BUSINESS The company, at present, is manufacturing woven sacks of various descriptions such as HDPE/PP Fabric sacks and HMKDPE/LDPE Bags. About 40% of this unit production is consumed by associate concerns nanely Deccan cements limited and DCL Polyesters limited. The company also caters to the requirements of other cement companies in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Although HDPE industry suffered a set back owing to mandatory use of jute bags prescribed by Government of India for all fertiliser companies the customer preference was for HDPE bags. As a result the company's operations were not unduly affected and they continue to be satisfactory.
