The results of the Sharetastic vs Sankalp poll are out. Sherus have spoken and how! A majority of the nearly 1,000 Sherus who participated in the poll have chosen Sankalp as the new name of Sharekhan’s Transformation project under Vision 2025. We are committed to recognising the choice of the majority and hereby pronounce “Sankalp” as the new name of the Transformation project.

The Sankalp project (yay! We get to use the new name first 😊) is all about collaboration and the whole exercise of selecting a name for the critical project was an amazing collaborative effort. Right from suggesting names for the project to finally voting for the right option, everything was done by the Sherus. And that is not all, the logo for the Sankalp project is also going to come from the Sherus but more on that later.

So what is the Sankalp project about? Well, just the name has changed, the objective of the project remains the same – transformation to achieve Vision 2025. The Sankalp project seeks to determinedly transform Sharkehan through continuous innovation, adoption of new technologies and ways of working, and improvements in internal processes and work culture to realise the Tiger’s vision of becoming India’s loved financial services partner, work for the financial well-being of Indians and become an aspirational place to work for Sherus. All Sherus will contribute directly or indirectly to the Sankalp project and we wish everyone success in their efforts.

We also thank all Sherus who participated in the poll, though we would have loved to see more participation from the rest. The results of the poll are given below.

Just to refresh your memory, two names including Sharetastic and Sankalp had been short-listed from 152 unique contest entries by the Sharekhan's Business Executive Committee after a thorough evaluation and a poll was conducted to select the better option. What’s more, a unique digital advertisement campaign using both the name options was also created in-house to help Sherus understand the ideas the two names express. Sherus took an informed decision and Sankalp won hands down.
