Dear Sheru,
We thank you and your colleagues across locations for participating in the SIP Kar, Record Kar campaign from June 10 to July 10, 2019. The entire Sharekhan family participated in this campaign and we are overwhelmed by your support.
Between July 1 and 10, 2019, together we had attempted to execute a record-making 25,000 mutual fund systematic investment plans (SIPs). You all put in your best efforts and as a first attempt we achieved 21,992 SIPs with an increase in monthly inflow of 3.62 crs. There was a tweet by BSE recognizing our achievement and Sharekhan’s new SIP ranking jumped from 14th (in June'19) to 3rd (in July'19) position (source: CAMS).
This was a successful campaign because of:
- Active participation of 1016 employees across channels
- Unique registered SIPs of 31,441
- Increased reach with 14,036 clients registered
We can create more new records, if we want, using the lessons learnt from this campaign:
- With everyone’s effort, we registered 31,441 New SIPs but could only execute 21,992 SIPs. There was an opportunity for increasing execution versus registrations
- With 19,146 executed SIPs eligible as per campaign criteria only 10,858 SIPs were with ACH mandated. There is an opportunity for increasing future SIP retention/continuation with getting more ACH mandates registered.
- There were 1704 existing SIPs cancelled by clients who started a New SIP during the campaign period. This efforts could have been put in adding new clients to the SIP base instead.
We were able to achieve 9,154 SIPs (post-cancellations) that met all the criteria of SIP Kar, Record Kar campaign.
