Satish Nagda is the Chief Transformation Officer of Sharekhan, reporting to CEO Jaideep Arora. He leads the transformation process in the organisation on a full-time basis and focuses on the implementation of the strategic projects adopted by the company under Vision 2025.

Satish has a fine understanding of the broking business, whether it’s the numbers, costs, opportunities or risks. He played a pivotal role in the transformation journey of Sharekhan after the company’s acquisition by the BNP Paribas Group. He was appointed the head of Sharekhan’s Finance department in 2018 and he ensured a smooth integration of the company’s Finance function with that of the parent Group. He has played a key role in setting up data analytics practice in the organisation and modernised Sharekhan’s Accounting department by implementing a new accounting enterprise resource planning system.

Satish joined Sharekhan in December 2009 from ICICI Bank after a three-year stint at the bank, where he was part of the talent pool and had been recognised as BIU-Star Performer for two years in a row. He began his career in 2005 with Ghalla & Bhansali Chartered Accountants where, incidentally, he carried out the internal audit of Sharekhan. He has over 19 years of experience in the financial service industry.

Satish is a Chartered Accountant as well as a Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA, USA.

In his spare time, Satish prefers to catch up on his sleep to recharge his batteries and come back with new transformation ideas.
