Rajesh Shetty is the Chief Human Resources Officer of Sharekhan, reporting to COO Stefan Groening. Rajesh also heads the company’s Internal Communications function for which he reports to CEO Jaideep Arora. He heads the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and leads its change management programme under Vision 2025.
Rajesh led the integration of Sharekhan’s Human Resources (HR) function with the policies and framework of the BNP Paribas Group during the acquisition. Since joining the company, he has been driving its diversity & inclusion, mobility, talent management and corporate social responsibility agendas. Under his watch, the company’s Employee Net Promotor Score is a healthy +40 as of 2020.
Rajesh joined Sharekhan in August 2015 from HR Xpress, an HR consultancy firm he founded in 2014 to help clients across industries achieve their HR and business goals. In a career spanning over 32 years, he has worked successfully in all areas of HR management and been heading the HR function for the past 19 years.
Rajesh has a master’s degree in Human Resources Development Management from University of Mumbai; a diploma in Personnel Management from Welingkar’s Institute of Management Development & Research; a law degree from University of Mumbai; and a diploma in Computer Application & Management from A-Plus Computer Education. He has also done a Basic Lab in Human Process Programme from Indian Society for Applied Behavioural Science.
Outside work, Rajesh is passionate about discussing Indian mythology, an amateaur shayar and a big fan of Jagjit Singh’s ghazals. Reading, chess, drawing and singing are the other interests of this versatile Sheru.
