Anshuman Das is the Chief Information Officer of Sharekhan, reporting to CEO Jaideep Arora. He is responsible for Information Technology (IT) Application and IT Foundation activities of the company.

Anshuman came to Sharekhan in February 2022 from Edelweiss Financial Services, where he had worked in the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Global Markets (the most technology-intensive part of the Edelweiss group) for six years. Prior to that he was with the Citi group for nine years. Several of the projects led by him have received company-wide and industry-wide awards over the years and he was also recognised as one of the Top Chief Architects of 2019 by ICMG, a technology rating company.

Anshuman has more than 18 years of work experience in technology development and management out of which 15 years have been in the capital markets domain with 10 years in managing large application development teams.

Anshuman did a postgraduate programme in Business (Analytical Finance & Strategic Marketing) from Indian School of Business - Hyderabad, where he was among the top 10% of the class of 2007. He also earned a master's and a bachelor's degree in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

A tech geek, Anshuman loves to learn new technologies and writes software programmes as a hobby. He has built complex software applications in 16 different programming languages till now and single-handedly created a social media platform (unlaunched).
