Dear All,

We are pleased to announce the position of Operational Risk Officer (ORO), CIB India reporting directly to the Head of RISK ORM, CIB India.

Please find below a brief job description of the position:

Deployment of the ORM framework of CIB India (incl. CIB2S)

  • Ensure that Operational Risk regulations, norms, guidelines and methodologies are understood and implemented
  • Check and challenge the Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA) prepared by the 1st line of defense
  • Perform second line controls, independent analysis and raise the appropriate Permanent Control Actions
  • Incorporate the use of Group ORM tools and related reporting
  • Track the timely closure of recommendations issued by Inspection Generale, external auditors and supervisory authorities and permanent control actions issued by RISK ORM; raise alerts when necessary
  • Monitor historical incidents and supervise the associated action plans
  • Active contribution to change management Process like TAC/NAC, LOMC etc.

Governance of the Operational Risk Profile of CIB India

  • Contribute to governance of CIB India operational risk management like Internal Control Committee, other local governance forums, meetings and drafting of minutes
  • Monitor external events that may impact the risk profile of CIB India

Reinforcement of the second line of defence of Technological Risks

  • Support the RISK ORM ICT APAC team in identification and assessment of technological risks by the 1st line of defense
  • Contribute to Cyber and Operational Resilience communities

Other Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation of transformation programs related to operational risk management and the RISK ORM function
  • Contribute to the local Anti-Fraud role performed by the 2nd line of defence
  • Produce CIB2S (Custody Services) specific deliverables
  • Track adherence to key KPIs – RCSA validation, testing reviews, change management etc.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in risk management and/or audit background
  • Risk mind-set and stakeholder management
  • Change management and analytical ability
