felt that the organisation’s response was great; it took care of the safety and well-being of the employees and supported them.
Reasons: - 98% of the employees in head office and branch network were made to work from home within a week of the announcement of the lockdown.
- Precautions were taken to provide safe transport as well as clean and hygienic workplace to the employees who were working from office.
- Salaries and bonuses were released before time.

Current status: We continue to be cautious and are gradually opening up the offices with strict protocols and processes in place.

Reasons: We were still in the process of providing employees access to a virtual private network (VPN), dongles and connectivity to work from home at the time of the survey.

Current status: Since then, we have enabled 874 users with VPN access, provided 155 dongles and rented 375 laptops to help overcome the connectivity challenges.

felt that their communication with the rest of the organisation was great
Reasons: - The communication from the company informing all employees about COVID-19 related advisories, updates, precautions, dos and don’ts etc was regular and prompt.
- The communication within teams and managers was made possible via multiple communication channels like conference calls, webex, blue jeans, etc., and providing internet connectivity through dongles and mobile hotspots.

Current status: We continue to provide regular updates to employees as well as take initiatives to constantly engage with them.
