- Sharekhan is a mutual funds distributor and we offer funds to clients as an investment choice
- Hence it is important that you reach out to ALL clients mapped to you.
- Share the Scheme Information Document (SID) and Key Information Memorandum (KIM) with your client. You will find these documents on the respective AMC websites.
- Along with return information, remember to share risk-related information with your clients along with information on the exit load and expenses.
- Please refer to the recent “Funds we Like” for the latest list of funds based on in-house research.
- For BNP Paribas funds, ensure that you highlight the Sharekhan and BNP Paribas MF group entity status to comply with the disclosure requirements.
- Ensure that commission structure for the fund is included as part of the disclosures to clients.
Don’ts
- Do not misrepresent or exaggerate return expectations.
- Do not share any collateral or information that is not vetted by the Investment Solutions team.
- Avoid churning of investments unless you are aligning to the approved schemes. Even then, share the tax implications and exit loads that may be incurred by the client.
- Do not share any fund related communication to clients without attaching this disclaimer.
