Prabeer Paichha Group Head Hyderabad region

Prabeer Paichha is the Group Head for Hyderabad region. He shares with us the plan to turn around his performance in the ongoing Sharekhan Asset Gathering League (AGL) contest and comeback as one of the qualifiers.

Below is a glimpse of his approach to make it to the winners list !

Team AGL: Things haven’t turned out so well in your contest performance so far. Any comments?

Prabeer Paichha (PP): The real estate market is very hot especially with all the speculation that preceded the elections. As a result, many of our clients are taking opportunistic bets on real estate and funding these through redemptions in AG products. In Hyderabad alone we have faced 4 Crs. in redemptions due to such reasons. In some cases, those deals haven’t worked out and we are going back to those clients to put those monies back in AG products.

Team AGL: What steps are you taking in order to bring a turnaround in the performance?

PP: Besides the winback focus, we have a clear plan on the Whiteoak NFO and on Large deals through PMS. I track the list of large deals very closely and all the leaders are personally involved in close these deals. With our large pipeline in PMS and in the NFO, I am sure we will make it to Goa!

Team AGL: Out of all the initiatives undertaken centrally, which one do you find the most useful in helping you achieve the goal?

PP: While all the initiatives have been useful, what we need most is access to something more basic. Just providing us the daily transaction dump at BM, GH and ZH level along with Mapped and Unmapped client information will go a long way in driving the business right! Having said that I see the IPC being very useful when used correctly. Unfortunately, even though the tool and journey is very simple, outside the SI team, no one is really using this on a regular basis and this is one area where more training will help.

Team AGL: What are you most looking forward to doing in Goa?

PP: After focusing on Large Deals, PMS and NFOs, I will focus on the intersection of the 3 B’s in Goa – Beach, Beer and Biradari!
